Surgical Stapler Achieves Optimal Grip with TPE Handle

The HC/AP series of THERMOLAST® H features excellent haptics and a soft-touch surface, ensuring users have an anti-slip grip and ergonomic comfort during device use.

Surgical staplers play a vital role in modern medicine, facilitating the closure of large surgical wounds with precision. Ensuring the safety, grip, and comfort of these essential medical instruments is paramount. KRAIBURG TPE, a leading global thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) manufacturer, is proud to introduce its THERMOLAST® H series exclusively in the Asia Pacific market, offering an ideal solution for healthcare and medical applications

THERMOLAST® H has undergone rigorous testing, including ISO 10993-5 and GB/T 16886.5 (cytotoxicity), ensuring its safety and compliance. It conforms to strict regulatory standards, including US FDA CFR 21 and Regulation (EU) No 10/2011, providing peace of mind for medical applications. Additionally, THERMOLAST® H is environmentally conscious, being free of animal ingredients and devoid of PVC, silicone, and latex. Its versatility extends to sterilization methods, as it can be safely autoclaved at 121°C or sterilized using EtO, ensuring a high level of hygiene in medical settings.

THERMOLAST® H is available in both translucent and natural colors. Its in-house precoloring option allows customization to meet specific project needs, ensuring a seamless integration into various designs.

Durability and Dependable Performance
The HC/AP series of THERMOLAST® H features excellent haptics and a soft-touch surface, ensuring users have an anti-slip grip and ergonomic comfort during device use. Its good compression set properties further enhance its appeal by ensuring long-lasting durability and dependable performance, meeting the thorough demands of medical applications.

Good Adhesion with Polar Thermoplastics
The HC/AD1/AP series within THERMOLAST® H offers an alternative solution for surgical stapler applications, featuring excellent mechanical properties and a soft-touch surface that enhances user comfort. This polar adhesion series demonstrates strong compatibility with polar thermoplastics such as PC, ABS, PC/ABS, ASA, SAN, PET, PETG, and PS through injection molding, making it an ideal choice for handle and grip applications. Furthermore, the overmolding process allows for versatile molding, enabling the TPE series to take on different textures and shapes in alignment with the device's design, promoting both functionality and aesthetics.

Beyond the two mentioned series, the THERMOLAST® H series presents an extensive array of material solutions tailored for medical devices and packaging applications. These materials have undergone rigorous testing to meet diverse requirements and compliance standards, primarily catering to the Asia Pacific market, ensuring they align with regional regulations and demands.
