What is Environmental Social and Governance?

ESG stands for Environmental, Social and Governance. This abbreviation is another term for corporate social responsibility (CSR).

ESG was coined by financial analysts and investors in the Socially Responsible Investment field in order to include environmental and social aspects as well as corporate governance - alongside economic indicators - in business valuations.
