what are Post-Consumer Recyclate?

 "Recyclates" are defined in the German Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act (KrWG) as "secondary raw materials that have been obtained through the recycling of waste or are produced during the disposal of waste and are suitable for the manufacture of products." 

Post-consumer recyclate (PCR) is produced from post-consumer materials. 

Examples: PP recyclate derived from household packaging waste from the "yellow bag" is used in the production of thermoplastic elastomers.
